Artist STATEMENT
I explore identity through a multidisciplinary practice, focusing on the human experience in personal and social context. My work reflects an ongoing exploration of how we exist as individuals, relate to one another, and how our sense of self is shaped by, and shapes, our cultural and communal experiences. My process is largely intuive as I often find myself guided by the sensory “living” quality of physical media. In It’s final form, any given peice is a demonstration of the relationshipn between myself, the utilized medium, and concept as they have developed throughout the process of creation.
